A wildflower walk will take place on Saturday, April 5, at 10 a.m. at Blue Creek in southern Martin County. Hosted by the Daviess-Martin CISMA and Four Rivers Forestry Committee, the free event will explore Virginia Bluebells and forest recovery efforts following a 2023 tornado. Experts will guide participants through the area, discussing native plants and forest management. The walk will last about an hour and proceed rain or shine unless severe weather is expected. RSVPs are encouraged by emailing emily.finch@in.nacdnet.net or calling/texting 812-329-0048.
