Halloween Safe-Stop at Eastside Park

The City of Washington is ready to welcome little ghosts and goblins to The Washington Park Departments huge Halloween Safe Stop at Eastside Park on Thursday night.  Washington Parks Superintendent Kip Kelley says that over 25 vendors will be set up to welcome the young trick-or-treaters.   Parking for the Safe-Stop will be available in the parking lot.  Booths will be set up all around the park.  The trail is a half mile walk.  The Halloween Safe-Stop will be open for 5  pm to 7:30 pm Thursday evening.    The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department will also host a safe-stop at the Security Center.  Officers and staff will be in costume handing our candy to the kids on Thursday.
