The City of Jasper has secured $5 million in READI 2.0 funding to support the development of a $45 million Regional Wellness Center. The planned 90,000-square-foot facility will be located on 10 acres near the Parklands and Jasper High School. Features include a fitness center, four full-court gymnasiums, an indoor aquatic center, an indoor walking track, exercise studios, and community rooms with a community kitchen. Owned by the City of Jasper and operated by the Tri-County YMCA, construction is expected to start in summer 2025, with the facility opening in late 2027.
