Martin County Leads State with Lowest July Unemployment Rate at 3.6%

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has reported that Martin County had the state’s lowest unemployment rate in July, at 3.6%.

In nearby counties, Dubois County recorded a 3.7% unemployment rate in July.

Daviess County’s rate increased by nine-tenths to 3.8%.

Pike County’s July jobless rate was 4.6%.

The average unemployment rate across all 92 counties in Indiana for July was 5%.
