The Indiana Department of Transportation is now accepting applications for the fall 2024 Community Crossings Matching Grant Program. The application window is open through Wednesday, July 31. The grants are available to cities, towns, and counties in Indiana, with funding matches based on population:
Cities and towns with fewer than 10,000 residents: 75/25 match
Cities and towns with more than 10,000 residents: 50/50 match
Counties with fewer than 50,000 residents: 75/25 match
Counties with more than 50,000 residents: 50/50 match
Since 2016, nearly $1.7 billion in matching funds have been awarded to support local road and bridge projects. Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, July 31, at 5 p.m. ET. Award notifications will be made in the fall.
