Leveda Pearl Clark, 87, of Washington, IN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at her residence in Washington. She was born on September 25, 1936, to the late Alvin & Dovie (Franklin) Harper in Shiloh, IN.

She married the love of her life, Bobby “Robert” Eugene Clark, on December 12, 1952, and they spent over 65 years together happily married.

Leveda loved to paint in her free time. She was a budding artist who was passionate about her work. She loved her family, and they all individually held a special place in her heart. She especially had a soft spot in her heart for children, and luckily, she had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to enjoy and spend time with throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors of Leveda include her children, Ronald Eugene (Bernadette) Clark of Washington, Stephen Leroy (Shannon) Clark of Washington, Cynthia Elaine Clark of Washington, Jeffrey Dean (Rhonda) Clark of Washington, Kenneth Blaine (Lisa) Clark of Washington, and Sherry (Patrick) Harding of Vincennes; two grandchildren whom she raised as her own, Ronald “Gene” Eugene (Sarah) Clark Jr., of Holland, and Anthony Charles Clark of Washington; her siblings, Charles Harper, John Harper, Brenda Baize, Diana Bugher, Sharon Wright, Ruth Bateman, and Janice Rydenbark; her grandchildren, David, Gene Clark, Tony Clark, Bobby Clark, Chris Clark, Darrell Clark, Darin Clark, Ryan (Chase) Clark, Cody Clark, Tyler Clark, Matt Clark, Craig Clark, Jade Brown, Logan Brown, John Criswell, Thomas Hardcastle, Casey Clark, Destiny Clark, and Joshua Harding; 32 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Dovie; her husband, Robert; her children, Beverly Sue, Gary Allen (Patty) Clark, Terry Ray (JoAnn) Clark, and her siblings, Hazel Schantz, Rex Harper, Bruce Harper, Daisy Canady, Violet Cox, and Bill Harper.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St., Washington, IN 47501 with Pastor Pete Aldrich officiating.
