Julia Sarabia and Zayed Clark were recently honored by the American Legion. Sarabia and Clarke both placed at the top in the local American Legion Americanism and Government Test. The test consists of 50 questions and an essay covering the Constitution, United States history, and Citizenship. The test was given to over 6,000 Indiana students. Sarabia also placed first in the American Legion’s District 7. In addition, Sarabia is the state winner and will receive a $1,000 scholarship at the American Legion Conference in April.
