The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported home intrusion near 400 South and Troy Road yesterday. Central Dispatch received the call at 10:54 a.m. Deputies spent about three hours at the scene investigating and searching for the suspects. Veale Elementary enacted a precautionary lockdown. The suspects, described as two males in black attire, fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 812-254-1060.
