A 24-year-old man from Bicknell has been handed a 50-year prison sentence for a child molestation charge. Andrew Derouin was convicted on a single count of child molestation that resulted in serious bodily injury. The charge, stemming from an incident in October 2019, alleges that Derouin was entrusted with the care of a 15-month-old child. A Knox County Circuit Court jury swiftly delivered a conviction this summer, taking less than ten minutes to reach a verdict. The conviction followed an investigation by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
