Late Saturday night, a tragic shooting incident unfolded on the northeast side of Indianapolis, leaving 10 individuals wounded. The shooting occurred during a large gathering of teenagers and young adults. Shortly after midnight, gunfire erupted, injuring all 10 victims, including a 21-year-old woman who tragically lost her life. Of the nine survivors, five were under the age of 18. Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett expressed his frustration and concern, placing blame on the widespread availability of firearms in the hands of those who should not possess them. As of now, law enforcement has not provided information about the individuals responsible for the gunfire.
