A devastating incident occurred at the Mulzer Crushed Stone Quarry in Crawford County, where the body of an employee was discovered in one of the water-filled pits. According to Indiana Conservation officers, the unfortunate event transpired yesterday afternoon. Reportedly, the employee was operating a massive dump truck, weighing several tons, when it slipped into a pit and plunged several hundred feet into the water. Yesterday, just before noon, authorities announced that the victim’s body had been retrieved from the quarry using a remote-operated vehicle. As of now, the identity of the victim remains undisclosed.
