Four schools in the Radius Indiana region have been selected to join the Regional Opportunity Initiatives UpLabs network. These schools are set to embed digital fabrication labs equipped with state-of-the-art technology and project-based learning instruction. The selected schools in the Radius Indiana region are:

Loogootee Middle School (Loogootee Community School Corporation)

North Daviess Jr/Sr High School (North Daviess Community School Corporation)

Northeast Dubois Intermediate School (Northeast Dubois County School Corporation)

These digital fabrication labs, often referred to as fab labs, offer students access to cutting-edge equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, vinyl cutters, and microelectronics tools. The addition of these four schools to the UpLabs network means they will receive funding for lab equipment and professional development for staff and administrators to support lab implementation. This includes lab design and equipment procurement processes. Administrators will also undergo leadership-focused professional development to support the sustainability of digital fabrication labs.
