Dianna Marie Jones, 79, of Shoals, passed away on Monday August 28, 2023 at her residence.
Born September 5, 1943, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Lewis and Ruth (Catt) French.
She married James Hoffman on June 3, 1961 and he preceded her in death. Dianna then married Donald Jones on November 7, 1987, and he survives.
Dianna graduated from Shoals High School with the class of 1961; worked as an Electronic Technician at Crane for over 28 years; and was a homemaker.
She loved gardening, horses, traveling with Donald to Florida over the winter for 21 years, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Donald; daughter, Connie Marie Hoffman-Roush; grandchildren, Travis (Candace) Roush, Cory (Ann) Roush, Amanda (JD) Turpin, Rachel (Matt) Way, and Tanner Diamond; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Rodgers and Mary Ellen Holt; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Hoffman-Diamond; granddaughter, Lacy Diamond; one brother, Donald French; and one nephew, David French.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care with Pat Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Friday at the Queen-Lee Chapel.
