Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum expressed gratitude to the community for their understanding as the Washington Avenue project progresses. Last week saw a significant cement stabilization process, causing some disruption to traffic due to the messy operation. Mayor Yochum shared that efforts are being made to reduce dust by watering the roadway as much as possible. In the upcoming week, crews will focus on preparing for base asphalt. Additionally, small side projects are planned, including finalizing the Landrey Drive approach, adjusting storm boxes, and conducting survey layout work. These side projects are not expected to impact traffic significantly.
