On June 23, at 3:20 PM, the Jasper Police Department received a report of a vehicle driving erratically southbound on Newton Street near the intersection of Schuetter Road. Officers located the vehicle in the 1400 block of Jackson Street. The male driver was identified as Ian Robling. Upon investigation, Ian Robling was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Robling consented to a Portable Breath Test (PBT), which revealed a BAC level of .359. He was then transported to Memorial Hospital, where a subsequent blood test indicated a BAC level of .428. Following medical clearance, Ian Robling was transported to the Dubois County Security Center. He has been charged with Operating While Intoxicated Over .15-Endangerment, Operating While Intoxicated, and Open Container in Plain View.
