Two missing Indiana University students, 19-year-old Siddhant Shah and 20-year-old Aryan Vaidya, were found dead under 18 feet of water near the Paynetown Marina on Tuesday morning.
It is believed that the cold water, windy weather, and lack of life jackets played a role in their deaths.
The Indiana Conservation Officers began searching for the two students after they did not resurface while swimming in Monroe Lake on Saturday.
Rescue efforts were cut short due to darkness on Saturday, and their friends were unable to assist them.
