The Indiana State Police and the ISP Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served search warrants in Ellettsville on Tuesday, March 3, in relation to a child pornography investigation. The investigation began in September 2022 after 22 National Center for Missing and Exploited Children cyber tips were received, which identified an individual distributing child pornography on social media applications Discord and Twitter. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Billy W. Arnold, was arrested and transported to Morgan County Jail for four counts of distribution of child pornography under 12 years old. The ISP ICAC detectives were assisted by other law enforcement agencies. Anyone with information related to crimes against children is encouraged to contact local law enforcement or visit the NCMEC website.
