Speeding Leads to Operating While Impaired in Daviess County

On Friday, April 25th, Master Trooper Gaven Wilson was working in the Daviess County area near Odon when he observed a vehicle speeding. Master Trooper Wilson stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Monty Sloan. Sloan showed visible signs of impairment. During a search of Sloan, suspected marijuana was also located. Sloan was transported to Daviess Community Hospital for a chemical test. Soan was then arrested and transported to the Daviess County Jail, where he is being held on bond.
