The son of a man found dead in his home in Oakland City has been arrested on murder charges. Brad Fiscus was found on the floor of his home Thursday. His son, Jonathan Fiscus, was spotted Tuesday in a stolen vehicle belonging to a family member on the east side of Princeton. Fiscus was arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop when officers discovered his car was stolen. Following court proceedings, the day after his arrest, officials say Fiscus had a seizure in his holding cell. A pretrial services employee attempted to console him, but Fiscus would then admit that he had killed someone. Fiscus gave details to the employee, stating he had killed his roommate on Dale Street in Oakland City. He eventually admitted it was his father he had killed. He is being held in Edgar County awaiting extradition back to Gibson County to face the new charges.
