State Sen. Eric Bassler (R-Washington) recently welcomed Olivia Eslinger, a student from Sullivan Middle School, to the Indiana Statehouse, where she participated in the Senate Page Program during a visit in March. As part of the program, Eslinger toured the historic Statehouse, observed legislative debates from the Senate floor, and spent time learning from her state senator. The Senate Page Program is open to students in grades 6–12 and runs on select days during the legislative session. This year’s program has concluded, but parents can find information about the 2026 program later this year at www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program.
