The Indiana Senate passed a resolution on March 4 in support of Purdue Extension’s Community Leadership Program (CLP). Authored by Sen. Eric Bassler, the resolution praised Purdue Extension for delivering research-based programs that improve quality of life in Indiana. Several CLP participants and alumni from Spencer, Daviess, Martin, Orange, Knox, and Vermillion counties were present at the Statehouse for the reading of the resolution. The visit offered attendees hands-on insight into the legislative process and emphasized the impact of citizen involvement in state government.
