Dubois County Emergency Management, along with the Local Emergency Planning Committee, will conduct a full-scale emergency response exercise on Saturday, May 10, at MasterBrand Cabinets, located at 614 W. 3rd Street. The drill, set to begin at 8:30 a.m., is designed to help first responders train for a hazardous materials incident in a realistic setting. Emergency personnel will respond as if facing an actual chemical emergency, giving agencies the chance to improve coordination and preparedness. The exercise will conclude around 12:00 p.m., and the public is advised that a large presence of emergency vehicles and personnel will be in the area during that time.
