Clyde Bauer, 80, of Washington, Indiana passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday March 30, 2025.
Born to John Franklin and Nancy Elizabeth (Hedrick) Bauer on July 26, 1944, at their home in Alfordsville, Indiana.
Clyde attended Alfordsville Primary school and was a member of the Alfordsville Yellow Jacket basketball team before graduating with the class of 1962 from Alfordsville High School.
He was a truck driver for several years. He also helped his dad on the family farm while managing a dairy farm operation.
Clyde enjoyed working with and riding horses. He loved to sing, play his guitar and listen to some good old fashioned gospel music. Clyde never turned down an opportunity to attend a gospel concert.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Beth Ann Graber; brother, Arnold Bauer, sister, Norma Gingrich, niece, Laquetta Roach, grandniece, Elizabeth Hamaker, grandchild, Baby Graber, great-grandson, Rayden Miles Jewett.
Clyde is survived by his wife Deborah; children, Kathy Bauer, Stephanie Goodwin Stamer (Fiance, Vince Foulk), Elizabeth Goodwin (Neal) Graber; son-in-law, Bret Graber; mother-in-law, Sharon Russell; grandchildren, Brandy Ramaj (Cory) Jewett, Nathan (Lizzy) Ramaj, Trey (Hillary) Graber, Destiny Stines, Charity Graber (friend, James), Charlee and Cory Graber; great- grandchildren, Konner and Aubrey Jewett, Tinslee and Haxhi Ramaj, Isiah, Joshua, Nehemiah, and Johanna Graber, Tyler Mize, Jaxson and Emmalynn Stines, and Gracelyn Cissell; brother, Dallas (Marcile) Bauer, sister- in -law, Janice (Delmas) Hamm, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday April 3, 2025, at 10:00 A.M at Oak Grove Cemetery – Reeve Township.
