Thelma “Diane” Breidenbaugh, 96, of Washington, IN, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025 at Eastgate Manor in Washington.
She was born on August 28, 1928, to the late George D. & Verna (Koontz) Waggoner, in Whitfield, IN.
Diane worked as a CNA at Eastgate Manor in Washington for several years, and later worked at Purdue Farms in Washington. She liked spending time outdoors and, in the sun, and also enjoyed flowers, watching birds, and fishing at the river. She also enjoyed water skiing, and spending time with animals, whether it be a cat or dog. Diane was a “girly girl” and loved to be made up and feeling pretty. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors of Diane include her daughter, Annette Clark of Washington, IN; her grandson, Cody Abel and his wife Sarah of Washington; her great-grandchildren, Johnny Abel, Gabriel Abel, Faith Abel, Hailey Abel and Kegan Abel; and her nieces, Thelma Swor, Cindy Budd, and Rita Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Harvey Waggoner, and Betty Thomas; and her grandson, Waylon Abel.
Per Dianes’ wishes, she will be cremated, and no public services will be held. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Diane and her family.
