Two California residents were arrested in Evansville on Wednesday after authorities intercepted two packages containing 40 pounds of methamphetamine at a parcel delivery facility. The packages were addressed to a residence in the 1800 block of Ridgeway Avenue. Members of the Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force staked out the address and observed two individuals retrieve the packages from a white van before attempting to flee. When police tried to stop them, the suspects rammed a sheriff’s patrol vehicle. A federal complaint was filed against Natasha Renee Garner, 46, and Goldie Flenor, 36, both of Los Angeles, for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine. The pair were taken into custody and transported to the Henderson, Kentucky, Detention Center.
