North Daviess Jr/Sr High has been awarded a $250 Teaching Innovator grant from Our Community Foundation to support the Leave Your Mark project. The grant was accepted by teacher Kami Geisler and Principal Jed Jerrels. Geisler’s class will collaborate with author J. Wolf Scott to explore creative writing, with the goal of publishing their own stories. The project encourages students to disconnect from technology and rediscover the power of storytelling.
