Indiana’s Turn In a Poacher (TIP) program is helping protect the state’s wildlife, with nearly 1,025 tips received in 2024 leading to multiple arrests and thousands of dollars in rewards paid. The TIP hotline allows Hoosiers to report poaching or other illegal wildlife activities by calling 1-800-TIP-IDNR (800-847-4367) or visiting tip.IN.gov. Reports can be made anonymously, and those providing information that leads to an arrest may receive a reward of up to $500.
