During the evening hours of January 20, 2025, the Lord called Martha E. (Jenne) Fuson, 72, to her heavenly home. She was born in Petersburg, February 10, 1952, the daughter of William James and Mabel (Holsclaw) Jenne, and made her home in Washington.
During her working years, Martha was a nursing aide at the Prairie Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Washington Nursing Center. Later, she worked in home healthcare. She was a devoted member of the Vincennes Avenue Wesleyan Church in Washington.
Those left to cherish Martha’s memory include: siblings: Claude Jenne of Washington; Rick (Peggy) Jenne of Washington; Vicki (Alan) Austin of Huntingburg; Wayne Jenne of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Milton Jenne in Florida. Martha leaves several nieces and nephews; and best friends, Janet Conley and Mary Jane Gilley, both of Washington.
During her lifetime, Martha mourned the loss of her parents, William and Mabel Jenne; her husband, Curt Wilson; siblings: Gene Risley; Bill Risley; Mike Jenne; Franklin Ray Jenne; Sue McBride; Anabelle Grubb; Georgie Jenne; Lois Bland; and infant, Irene Jenne.
Visitation for Martha Fuson will be 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.
Funeral services for Martha Fuson will immediately follow the visitation on January 27, 2025, and begin at 1:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Pastor Jewel Gilley will officiate. Burial will be in the Anderson Chapel Cemetery in Petersburg.
