Terry L. Gladish, 73, passed away ay 7:30 pm on Monday, January 20, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Terry was born on December 10, 1951 in Washington, IN the son of Denver and Gertrude (Spray) Gladish. He married Sharon Auberry on April 22, 1972.
Terry was of the Methodist Faith and had a strong work ethic. He helped his father farm for many years, worked for Old Ben Mine for over twenty-two years and also worked at John Deere. Terry enjoyed golfing, mushroom hunting and loved his trips to Florida, especially going to the beach. He enjoyed coaching and watching his sons sporting events and especially loved watching his grandchildren participate in their sporting events and other activities. He also served on the Board of Directors at Pike County Bank in Petersburg.
Survivors include his wife Sharon Gladish of Petersburg; sons, Jared Gladish and his wife Angie of Boonville, IN, Eric Gladish and his wife Sara of Vincennes, IN; his grandchildren, Morgan and Mason Gladish and Taylor, Braelyn and Jaxon Gladish, as well as several nieces and nephews. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Denver and Gertrude Gladish, his sister-in-law, Marla Gladish and his granddaughter, Kaylee Jo Gladish.
Friends may visit with Terry’s family from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington, IN 47501 with Pastor Cameron Gladish officiating. Terry will be laid to rest in Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. The Gladish family has requested memorial contributions be made in Terry’s name to Pike Animal Welfare Shelter, 4224 N.
