Donald E. Divine, 91, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away on Saturday January 18, 2025, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare in Jasper, Indiana joining his eternal family.
He was born in the Depression Era on May 7, 1933, in Loogootee, Indiana to Ronald A. “Gus” and Nellie (Ledgerwood) Divine. Donald was the last of 10 children. All he’s ever known is work. He was a lifelong farmer.
Donald went from working with horses in his younger years to working with 4 WD tractors. He married Janice (Sanders) on February 14, 1953.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Janice, their children, Lora, Dale, Wanda, John, Brenda, and Ronnie, 32 Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday January 23, 2025, at 1:00 P.M at South Martin Cemetery on South Martin Road in Rutherford Township with Rev. Martin Evans to officiate.
A celebration of life will be held for friends and family on Saturday January 25, 2025, from 1:00 P.M until 5:00 P.M at the Whitfield Community Building in Whitfield, Indiana.
