Emergency crews responded to a personal injury accident at South State Road 57 and West Ohio Street in Washington on Sunday afternoon around 2:15 pm. The crash, involving a red pickup and a silver car, resulted in multiple injuries, including a young girl with a facial cut. Three individuals were reportedly trapped in the vehicles, prompting rescue efforts. Air Evac services were dispatched for a passenger with a facial fracture, while medics transported several individuals to Daviess Community Hospital. Crews worked to clear the scene, reopening the roadway by 3:12 p.m. The incident remains under investigation.
