Four Radius Indiana Schools Receive $10,000 Grants for School-Based Enterprises

Four schools in the Radius Indiana region received $10,000 grants each from Conexus Indiana to support their School-Based Enterprises (SBEs) as part of the Conexus Student Industries program. The program aims to develop manufacturing and logistics talent among high school students through student-run businesses. The Radius region schools awarded were:

Loogootee Community School Corporation – Lion Manufacturing

Mitchell Community Schools – Cement City Industries

Northeast Dubois Jr./Sr. High School – Jeep Engineering & Manufacturing

Orleans Junior/Senior High School – Bulldog Manufacturing and Design

These enterprises utilize advanced tools like CNC machines, 3D printers, and laser engravers.  A total of $110,000 was distributed to 11 schools statewide in this year’s awards. Other recipients include schools in Nashville, Marion, Cambridge City, Madison, Leopold, and Seymour.
