The Indiana State Police have issued a statewide Blue Alert as they search for Austin Schepers, 33, wanted in connection with the shooting of an Orange County deputy. Schepers is described as 5’7”, 150 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, a cross tattoo under his left eye, and multiple neck tattoos. He was last seen driving a silver 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix with Indiana license plate CRT921, accompanied by an unidentified individual. The suspect’s last known location was in West Baden, Indiana, early Friday morning. Authorities believe Schepers is armed and dangerous.
