Two Arrested Following Early Morning Incident in Washington

Early on December 17, Washington Police responded to reports of suspicious activity in the 1400 block of State Street. Around 2:25 a.m., officers were dispatched after a caller reported a person knocking on doors and fleeing west. Patrol officers located Nicholas Dvorak, 24, of Bloomington. Dvorak was found in possession of a syringe and had active warrants in Monroe County for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication. During the investigation, officers encountered Skyler Robinson, 35, who was wanted in Illinois for failure to appear. Both individuals were arrested without incident.
