Karen Sue Holman
June 6, 1954 – December 1, 2024
Karen Sue “Susie” Holman, our beloved mother, grandma, and sister, peacefully left us at 6:30 P.M. on December 1, 2024 at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Born June 6, 1954, in Jasper, she was the daughter of Woodrow and Catherine (Burress) Truelove.
She married Dwight Joe Holman, and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Karen Sue always enjoyed spending time with her son, Cody and taking care of him; and spending time with her two grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, celebrating holidays, and being with her family.
Karen was a graduate of Loogootee High School and was a homemaker. She attended the Truelove United Methodist Church, Loogootee.
Surviving are her children, Cody Holman and Travis (Hannah) Holman; two grandchildren; Gracie Lee Holman and Bentlee William Joe Holman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight; son, Timothy Joe Holman; seven brothers, Lester, Virgil, Harold, Larry, Terry, Garold, and Roger; and two sisters, Janet and Cheryl.
Cremation was chosen and burial with her husband and son will be at a later date.
