Joshua Aaron Benton, 49, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 1st, 2024. Born on November 11th, 1975, in Bedford, Indiana, Josh was the beloved son of William “Cleve” Benton and Kristen Benton Bepler.
Josh had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed photography. He was known for his kindness and dedication, often driving several Amish families to town for appointments and errands.
He is survived by his precious daughter, Holli Benton; his loving parents, William “Cleve” Benton (Bobbi McIntyre) and Kristen Benton Bepler; his siblings, Andrew Benton and Megan (Charles) Jones; niece and nephews, Nora, Hayden and Charles Jr.; his grandfather, William Pierce; his aunt, Cecilia Pierce; uncle, William Pierce Jr. (Lisa); his half siblings, Travis, Evan, and Kacy Bledsoe; his cousins, Lucas Wininger, Chase Wininger, Lisa Pierce, Mackenzie Pierce and Matthew Pierce (Sarah); his stepmother, Sue Bledsoe; He was preceded in death by his biological father, Bryan A. Bledsoe; his grandmother, Betty Ann Pierce; his stepfather, Ronald Bepler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Josh’s memory.
