On November 20, around 1 p.m., the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police executed a search warrant at a residence on East 50 North near Oakland City. The investigation aimed to uncover new information about Lora Ann Overton, a 62-year-old woman reported missing on June 7, 2024. During the search, authorities arrested two individuals on unrelated charges. David Hughes, 58, was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, while Theresa Wilkins, 57, was arrested on an outstanding Identity Theft warrant from Saline County, Illinois. Overton, also known as Lora Ann Ridgely, is described as a 5’2” Caucasian female with blonde hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 100 pounds. Anyone with information on Ms. Overton’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
