The Board of Directors of Our Community Foundation has named Christine “Chris” Jarrett as the new Executive Director, effective January 2. Jarrett will succeed Mary Smith, who will retire in March after serving as a consultant to the Foundation through the transition. Jarrett has lived in Daviess County for over 30 years and brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership. She has managed federal grants addressing methamphetamine abuse and served on the Washington Catholic Education Endowment Board. She currently works as an Adult Protective Services Investigator and volunteers with local organizations, including Daviess County 4-H.
