Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita has successfully revoked the professional license of Evansville addiction counselor Michael Hagedorn, who illegally sold drugs to his patients. The Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board agreed to the revocation following an administrative complaint from Rokita’s office. Rokita criticized Hagedorn’s actions, saying, “This individual used his vulnerable patients for financial gain by fueling their addictions rather than treating them.” Hagedorn, currently serving a 16-year prison sentence for methamphetamine and narcotic dealing, also faces a six-year enhancement for habitual offenses.
