Our Community Foundation has launched three new funds addressing various charitable needs. Two permanent endowments were created through the estate of Freelandville resident Brooks Harting: the Brooks Harting Freelandville Community Home Endowment to support the Freelandville Community Home and the Brooks Harting Freelandville Methodist Church Endowment for the church’s ongoing support. A third, donor-advised fund was established by Montgomery residents Ken and Paula Jones, allowing flexible donations with immediate tax benefits. Contributions can be made online or directly to the Foundation’s office in Washington.
