Our Community Foundation is accepting applications for its Teaching Innovator Grants, supporting innovative teaching projects during the second semester of the 2024-25 school year. Grants of up to $250 will be awarded from the Foundation’s unrestricted funds. However, funding for field trips or standard classroom expenses like textbooks is not available. Applications are due by November 25, and each teacher is eligible for one grant per school year. During the first-semester grant cycle, seven teachers across three Daviess County schools received a total of $1,739 in funding for their projects.
