On Saturday, Senior Trooper Andrew Watson responded to a domestic dispute in Plainville, assisting the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation revealed that 49-year-old Erik Graber had been involved in an argument with a female victim, which escalated into a physical altercation. When the woman, accompanied by a juvenile, tried to leave, Graber disabled two vehicles to prevent their departure. When Trooper Watson arrived, he found Graber confronting the female and juvenile inside a vehicle. Graber was arrested without incident and taken to the Daviess County Jail, where he faces the following charges:
Criminal Confinement (with a vehicle) – Level 5 Felony
Domestic Battery on a Minor – Level 5 Felony
Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Minor – Level 6 Felony
Graber is being held on bond.
