Carol J. Miller, 92, of Vincennes passed away on October 9, 2024. He was born December 18, 1931 in Washington, IN to Clinton and Helen Miller.
Carol married Carolyn Robb on July 28, 1951 and they just celebrated 73 years together. They enjoyed being with family and friends and riding their Red-Gold Wing motorcycle.
Carol was a well-known contractor around the Vincennes area; he always took so much pride in his work. His children describe their dad as their “Hero in life and the kindest and hardest working man they have ever known.”
He is survived by his wife Carolyn; children, Ronald Miller, Bonnie (Rick) Carie, and Connie (Brian) Lett all of Vincennes; Grandchildren, Kisha (Jonathan) Dobson, Gina Miller, Ronnie II (Shanna) Miller, Matt (Brittney) Carie, Andrew Carie, Chad (Kelli) Carie, Jared Carie, Tyler Lett, and Tristan Lett; great-grandchildren, Macy Jo Sexton, Brayden Carie, Alaila Carie, Madilyn Carie, Shelbi Carie, Sydnie Carie and Griffen Carie, Victoriagiselle, Koriann, and Corbin Lemeron, Abigail Cole, Loghan Hadlock, Ronnie Miller III, Luke Mincey, Hunter Hadlock, Levi Miller, Liberty Miller, Taya Miller, Malaysia Miller and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sister, and daughter-in-law Virginia Miller.
Friends may visit with Carols family on Saturday, October 19 from 2 pm until time of service at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes. A Celebration of Life will begin at 4:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
