Donald V. Bradley, 86, passed away the morning of October 11, 2024. He was born in Washington, August 18, 1938, the son of James A. and Anna (Brewer) Bradley. On January 9, 1960, he married Virginia (Mangin) Bradley, and they made their home together until her passing.
Donald was a 1957 graduate of Washington High School. He owned and operated a hog farm and was a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed keeping up with current affairs. But, most of all, Donald loved spending time with family. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
Those who are left to cherish Donald’s memory include his children: Mark (Tina) Bradley of Bowling Green, Ohio; and Bonita (Alan) Mattingly of Washington. Donald was blessed with four grandchildren: Andrew (Amanda) Bradley; Patrick (Olivia Stork) Bradley; Kenna Creighton; and Abbie Mattingly; five great-grandchildren: Lilah Creighton, Kyra Huffman, Kyley Huffman, Oliver Bradley, and Mackenzie Bradley. Coming from a large family, Donald leaves several siblings: Gerald Bradley of Alfordsville; Theresa Case of Birds, Illinois; Catherine Paolucci of Carmel; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Bottoms of Washington.
During his lifetime, Donald mourned the loss of his parents, Anna and James Bradley; his wife, Virginia Bradley; daughter, Becky Bradley; son, Jim Bradley; grandson, Matthew Bradley; and siblings: Bernie Klingle, Ralph Bradley, Anne Gartner, John Bradley, Leonard Bradley, Louise Wedge, James Bradley, Jr., David Bradley, Harold “Dick” Bradley, and a sister who died in infancy, Cecilia Bradley.
Visitation for Donald Bradley will be held 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.
Funeral services for Donald Bradley will immediately follow the visitation on Thursday, October 17, 2024, and begin at 1:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Miss Yvonne Evans will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery.
