The threat of wet weather has cancelled a couple of weekend events. The Daviess County Fair Demo Derby scheduled for tomorrow night at the fairgrounds has been postponed to October 19th. The Martin County Alliance’s golf scramble has been postponed today at the Lakeview Course in Loogootee due to the weather. The makeup date will be next Thursday, October 3rd. Alliance staff will be reaching out to verify the team’s availability to play Thursday. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

The free showing of the new movie The Wild Robot tonight at The Indiana Theater is still on as planned; however, due to winds and rain, they will be opening the doors early at 5 p.m. to get your tickets and avoid people waiting in line in the rain. Come early and guarantee a ticket for the show. You can then either stay or come back when the movie starts. Tonight’s premiere is free, with free popcorn and drink compliments of The Family Health Center.
