Martha Norris, 72, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away at 5:20 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024 at her home.
She was born October 28, 1951 in Cannelburg, Indiana to the late Daniel J. and Ruth F. (Graber) Otto.
Martha married Rex Norris on September 1, 1979 and he survives.
She was a member of the Providence Mennonite Church. Martha was an avid baker. She proudly prepared baked goods for weddings and various events.
Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Norris; parents, Daniel J. and Ruth F. Otto; granddaughter, Bailey Oliver; brother-in-law, Joe Norris.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Norris of Montgomery; her sons, Brian Norris and Travis (Angie) Norris, both of Montgomery; grandchildren, Callysta Young, Logan (Bryce) Hamilton, and Hayden Norris; her siblings, Lester (Jane) Otto of Loogootee, Mary Jane (Glen) Graber of Odon, Elmer Dean (Diane) Otto of Washington, Dorothy (Paul) Knepp of North Carolina, Daniel R. Otto of Cannelburg, Ruth E. (Dave) Zook of Litiz, Pennsylvania, and Kathryn E. Otto of Odon; brother-in-law, Ed Norris of Haysville; sisters-in-law, Mary (Carl) Browning of Taylorsville, Kentucky, Brenda (Kim) Burris of Ferdinand, and Kelly Cook of Winslow.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 9th, 2024 at Providence Mennonite Church in Montgomery, Indiana. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens in Washington, Indiana.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 8th, 2024 from 2:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at Providence Mennonite Church in Montgomery, Indiana. Condolences may be made online at www.blakefuneralhomes.com.
