Today is the Sustaining Hoosier Communities kick-off meeting at the Daviess County Museum on Main Street. All are invited to come and learn more about this combined effort with Indiana University students, faculty, and staff about community-identified projects the group plans to work on in Daviess County. Chamber of Commerce Director Joe Morris says it is a great opportunity for our community, as Daviess County was selected as one of only a handful to receive the help through this initiative.
The meeting is free and open to the public, starting at 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served at the Daviess County Museum on Main Street in downtown Washington.
