A French Lick, Indiana man was arrested on August 28 for possession of child pornography following an investigation by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The arrest of Jeremy David Cox resulted from three cybertips received by the Indiana State Police from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in May 2024. A search warrant was executed at Cox’s residence, leading to his arrest. He was charged with possession and/or distribution of child pornography, a Level 5 felony, and was taken into custody at the Orange County Jail. Additional charges may be forthcoming.
