The Martin County Alliance and Purdue Extension Martin County is working together to revive community leadership programs. Two new initiatives are planned: the Legacy Program, starting in fall 2024, which will introduce participants to local leadership, and an advanced program for alumni focused on skill development. Both programs aim to increase awareness of Martin County’s resources and foster civic engagement. The first cohort graduated in 2020, and the new efforts are set to continue into 2025 and beyond. There’s still time to register for Martin County’s Leadership Program. The price to participate in the program is $300, and applicants will be notified on September 30th if they are one of the lucky 15 chosen to move forward.
