Jasper, IN — The Jasper City Police Department arrested 45-year-old Robert McKinney early Sunday morning on multiple charges, including battery, disorderly conduct, intimidation, and public intoxication. The incident occurred at 12:41 a.m. at 448 W. Forty-Third Street. The police received a 911 call reporting a physical altercation in progress. Upon arrival, officers detained two men. The investigation revealed that McKinney had made threats and attempted to grab another man, who defended himself and instructed someone to call 911. McKinney was subsequently transported and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
